Nokia has an unpaid tax bill in Romania. A big unpaid tax bill. According to a Bloomberg report Nokiaowes the Romanian government a cool $10 million in unpaid taxes, presumably relating to transport costs. Since Nokia has announced its intention to close down its operations in Romania and seeing the bill hasn't been paid the Romanian authorities decided to seize Nokia's property in Romania. The seizure won't affect operations, it's more of a preventative measure as Sorin Blejnar, the head of the Romanian tax department, explained "We decided to seize the assets as a precautionary measure to prevent Nokia from selling them before they pay their debt to the state. This won't affect the activity of the factory".

iOS 5 hasn't gotten off to a good start for many users due to widespread battery issues. Some users reported seeing their battery drain by as much as 10% per hour whilst on standby. Apple duly released a fix for the issue in the form of iOS 5.0.1. Case closed.
... well not quite. After the update was released reports began to surface that the update was making the battery issue worse, not better, for some users. Others reported that they now had a battery issue where before they had none. The update was released at the end of last week and thus we're only afew days into it, but if this is the reaction already it probably won't be too long before we see Cupertino pushing out another update. Hopefully that one solves more problems than it creates.

Business Insider are running a report claiming that the much expected, but never materialised, iPhone 5 is, or rather was, real. Apparently Apple were working on a prototype, but it got shelved mere months before the launch of the iPhone 4S. Business Insider describes their source for the rumour as being reliable and someone who has been right on Apple products in the past, however, they admit that they couldn't verify this information with a second source so it is very much in the territory of a rumour.
The source claims that the iPhone 5 prototype packed in all the goodies people have been hoping for and was a brand new design fitting for the title 'iPhone 5'. The prototype is said to have featured a larger screen than previous iPhones, weighing in at 4 inches and sporting an aluminium back casing. Liquid metal technology was said to be considered for making different colour variants. The Home button was no longer a physical button, instead having been replaced by a touch sensitive version. The camera was apparently rocking a 10 MP sensor. Last, but not least, Siri was present, albeit named 'Assistant'.
Unfortunately Business Insider's source says that he doesn't know why the device wasn't approved. What he did say though was that there is apparently a rumour doing the rounds at Apple that Steve Jobs wasn't sold on the idea of a bigger screen because he thought it would fragment the iPhone product line.
