The white iPhone can really only be described as a farce given the ridiculous delays in releasing a white version of a phone and the enormous hyperbole and incessant 'hands-on' videos that surround it. The latest twist in the eye shutting 'drama' over the device adds yet another ridiculous facet to the device. It is apparently too thick to properly fit cases made for the black iPhone 4! Seriously.
The white iPhone 4 measures in at 9.5mm thick whereas the black iPhone 4 measures 9.3mm and yes apparently those 0.2mm do make a difference. Sure the loose fitting cheaply made cases should slip right on, but anyone who has invested in a more tight fitting case will find it a bit of a struggle to get it on their shiny new white iPhone 4.
Why the extra thickness you may ask? Well apparently changing the colour of the handset to white causes 'unexpected interactions' with the phone's internal components so extra UV shielding had to be added. Even the explanation sounds ridiculous. At this stage of the proceedings Apple would probbaly be better off turning this into a game e.g. 'What iPhone Problem Can We Create This Week?'.

Video calling for Android! Huzzah! Ok so there are some apps that already offer this, but this is the real deal from none other than the Big G themselves. Crucially the service will work over both WiFi AND 3G networks although it is worth noting that individual networks can block this. No doubt some will, but hopefully the majority don't.
So when is this thing out and about? Well let's turn to Google for the answer:
Google Talk with video and voice chat will eventually roll out to Nexus S devices in the next few weeks as part of the Android 2.3.4 over-the-air update and will launch on other Android 2.3+ devices in the future.
In other words it's not much of an answer. Still if the Nexus S is receiving it in an update soon(ish) then other handsets can probably expect to see it in similar updates when and if the various manufaturers get around to updating their hardware..

It didn't take long before the Apple tracking saga became the subject of mockery and who better to do the mocking than South Park? Watch, laugh and maybe watch again!
