Blackberry OS 6.0 Screenshots Leak?    [ 19-03-2010 19:20 ]

Author: Ivanov Konstantin   Source: Engadget     Translation by: Administrator    Send news to friend  Discuss in forum

Some excitement on the Blackberry OS front today ... or perhaps not. A fe wpictures purporting to be of OS 6.0 have surfaced, but there is doubt over their authenticity (isn't there always?). The pictures (below) are apparently from someone VVLeaks describes thusly: "highly regarded as real from one of our best connects". Fair enough, so why the doubt? Well, as Engadget points out, there are similarities between these pictures and a slide from the Super Apps webinar in February, which Blackberry themselves described as mere mockups of nothing important. Take a look for yourself and make up your own mind, the webinar image is the one on the bottom.

A rather interesting couple of videos have been posted to th web showing Windows Phone 7 Series emulator unlocked. The emulator allows devs to play around with the OS before it's actually released to the public and unlocking it is akin to jailbreaking an iPhone, it opens up various aspects of the OS that haven't been publicly seen yet. Check out both the videos below (they;re about 10 minutes each):
