webOS 1.4 Update Changelog    [ 25-02-2010 20:41 ]

Palm had previously promised that there would be an update to their webOS operating system sometime this month and as the month is fast approaching its end the update has still not been made official, but it seems that a log of the relevant changes and features to be released with the 1.4 update has been leaked out. These include the usual various bug fixes thata ccompany such releases, but also some solid enhancements like custom sounds for different alerts, Flash support and video recording support. It's important to point out that the Flash support looks like it won't be up and running on the Pre natively, rather you will have to go into the App Catalogue and download the Flash app, but at least it's there. There are also various performance boosts, including performance enhancements for the calendar app and messaging gets a pass over too.
