  Satio to Be Withdrawn From Sale Again?    [ 20-02-2010 19:09 ]

Sony Ericsson's much beleagured flagship device, Satio, may be in for another recall in the UK according to SE-NSE. Citing sources close to the Carphone Warehouse, the UK's largest mobile phone retailer, they are saying that although the handset is currently on sale another software issue is set to have the handset withdrawn very soon. If that proves correct it would be a devastating blow to the handset, which has already been withdrawn from sale once before late last year. Another withdrawal will almost certainly mean the end of the handset in the UK. Orange's UK arm seems to be getting in on the action too with reports surfacing that they are preparing to offer half priced contracts with Satio to try and shift their remaining stock of the handset. All in all not a good day for Satio or Sony Ericsson.
