New Pics of HTC Leo Surface    [ 23-09-2009 20:39 ]

Some new pictures of the much discussed HTC Leo have popped up on the tubes today. The pictures are pretty clear although they don't show the handset actually turned on alas. However, they do show a size comparison between Leo and the Hero and what a comparison it is ... Leo is huge! Leo looks set to sport a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, 4.3" capacitive touchscreen and 1230 mAh battery. Release dates, or announcement dates for that matter, haven't been confirmed.

Sony Ericsson X2 Released on Vodafone in November    [ 23-09-2009 18:48 ]

Some good news for British Sony Ericsson fans today: Vodafone will be releasing the X2 in November! The WinMo 6.5 handset will go on sale in time for the crucial Christmas shopping period and perhaps more interestingly a full two months before its Android sister, the X3, is rumoured to be released. A November release for the X2 would indeed leave a little room between launches and gives the X3 January theory a little more credence. If the X2 does make its debut in November it would also bolster Sony Ericsson, which last year took around 10 months to release the X1. A quick X2 launch would go some ways to restoring some confidence in the manufacturer's ability to release phones to market on time.
