Google Sync Gets GMail Support    [ 22-09-2009 19:21 ]

Google Sync, the syncing solution from ... well Google that allows you to sync calendar and contacts with your iPhone has just added GMail support. It's not just iPhone owners that benefit of course as Google Sync works with Symbian, S60 to be precise, and WinMo devices too. The new feature allows for emails to be pushed directly to your handset so no more manual checks! Even better is that there is no extra software required, it works with your handset's native email client. "Having an over-the-air, always-on connection means that your inbox is up to date, no matter where you are or what you're doing", says Google. Some may wonder why GMail support wasn't included from the beginning, but whatever the reason it's here now.
