Apple Investigating 3.1 Battery Issues    [ 21-09-2009 19:20 ]

The OS 3.1 update for the iPhone hasn't been without its share of problems (which update has?), and many users have been reporting that their battery seems to drain faster. Well it looks like Apple are taking notice and are trying to get to the bottom of the matter. On the one hand they are asking users reporting power drains whether the power drain is a valid drop in battery power or whether it is in fact a malfunction with the battery level indicator. Apple are also emailing users with an attachment to install a battery monitor that will collect data about the power status of their iPhone and upload that information to Apple when the iPhone is synced to iTunes. Hopefully they uncover the mystery sooner rather than later ...

We know that Sony Ericsson are set to announce their first Android powered handset later this year and for the past few months we've been teased by leaked videos of the UI nd some renderings of this new handset, codenamed 'Rachel'. Well today we get a look at the handset itself, albeit in blurrycam form. Le0n_Pro has posted a collection of Rachel pictures over on the SE-NSE forums showing both the handset and the UI.
