New SE Android Handset? Pic & Video    [ 22-10-2009 18:08 ]

Rumours are spreading that Sony Ericsson may have a new Android handset in the works after a picture of a handset codenamed Susan leaked onto the web. Some are adamant that the menu shown in the picture is indicative of Android, but others are taking the line that it's most likely a new version of Sony Ericsson's own platform. To be fair it's hard to tell so it looks like this one will be a case of playing the waiting game, but in any case it's always nice to see a new phone. Enjoy the intro video to Susan below!

Video: Multi-Touch Browsing on the HD2    [ 22-10-2009 17:50 ]

The current darling of the WinMo circle is of course the much anticipated HTC HD2 (aka Leo). It's been doing the rounds in the rumour mill for a few months now and to be fair it's a pretty impressive piece of kit. So far we've seen all manner of pictures, videos and specs lists concerning the HD2, but one that has been notably absent has been a video of multi-touch web browsing using Internet Explorer. Well we get our first glimpse of that today in the video below. The multi-touch action begins around 2:20 and to be fair it's not exactly super fluid, but remember that the handset isn't out yet so there is still time to see this improve.
