SE Handset for the Japanese Elderly Packs A Punch    [ 19-10-2009 18:45 ]

We often don't hear too much about Japanese handsets here in Europe, probably because there is often a lack of good english language coverage of them and also because we can't use them on our own networks. Anyway one handset that did catch my eye is Sony Ericsson's Urban Barone, part of Japanese network AU KDDi's winter collection. The handset is supposedly targeted towards the 'elderly' although elderly in this case is apparently the 40-50 age group. Still for a handset that is targeted at a demographic not renowned for being 'techie' it actually packs a serious punch. It features a 5.14 MP camera, microSD support for 16 GB cards, WiFi, GPS and a 3" WVGA screen. Not bad at all! Now look at what elderly Europeans are given!

At any rate theunlockr.com have managed to get their hands on some pictures of what they say could be the Dragon. Of course we don't know, at this stage, whether this is the Dragon or not, but we can wonder ...
