Satio Delay: Update    [ 08-10-2009 21:06 ]

A small update to yesterday's news that Sony Ericsson's flagship Satio 12.1 MP cameraphone would be delaye din the UK. It now also looks like the handset has been delayed in Sweden too so that it can receive a firmware upgrade before it goes on sale. That doesn't bode well for reliability, but on the other hand at least Sony Ericsson are doing something about it. From what I hear we should be looking at a rleease date sometime next week although Orange UK said that they wouldn't be selling Satio until the end of October. Hopefully that's just Orange and not everyone else. Satio has certainly gotten off to a bumpy start and Sony Ericsson won't be pleased with the delay considering how much they've invested in this product, both the handset itself and in the marketing campaign.
