Satio Launch Delayed In The UK    [ 07-10-2009 18:43 ]

Satio, Sony Ericsson's flagship 12.1 MP handset, was all set to launch in the UK tomorrow ... until today that is. Carphone Warehouse, the UK's largest mobile retailer has delayed the launch with no date being given as to when it actually will go on sale. There is no word on what the cause of the delay is or whether it will affect other retailers also about to launch Satio e.g. Orange and Vodafone. It may be the case that it's simply a problem with Carphone Warehouse, but if not it might be a more general problem that could cause a general delay in the handset going on sale. Sony Ericsson has been plagued with launch delays over the past couple of years, especially where its high-end handsets are concerned, and whether this particular incident is down to Sony Ericsson itself or not it's bound to reflect badly on the company. Hopefully it's a temporary delay.
