Music-focused product possibly coming from Nokia on Wednesday    [ 09-03-2009 21:40 ]

In two days time, it looks like Nokia will possibly be unveiling a new music-focused product, if the message on their events site is to be believed. As you can see in the image below, the message on the site reads as follows "YOUR MUSIC PLAYER IS RINGING. When: March 11 2009 10:00 CET". The event will be available to watch live online, from 10.00 Central Europe Time.

Then again, it could be possible that Nokia will be announcing the availability of the Comes With Music service in a new regoion. All will become clear in just under two days time.

LG's affordable Cookie touchscreen handset gets an upgrade for Koreans    [ 09-03-2009 20:25 ]

LG's popular Cookie handset, which boasts a touchscreen, at an affordable price, is to get an upgrade for the Korean market. The Cooky boasts updated specifications from the Cookie, most notably, a 3D accelorator chip, and  LG's own S-class User Interface, which was first seen on the company's high-end Arena handset.

Other features include 7.2 Mbps HSDPA connectivity, built-in accelerometer, and TV-output functionality.  For the time being at least, the Cooky wil be available from June in Korea, for the sum of approximately €300.
