Samsung's U900 Soul handset was first unveiled in February of this year, and has been available on the market since a few months after that. It seems Samsung has seen fit to create a successor of sorts to the U900 Soul - the S8300, which has recently been leaked.

It should start to be available on the market from around March of next year onwards. The rumoured specs of the device are as follows:

  • Display: 2.8" AMOLED technology, WQVGA resolution shows up to sixteen million colours
  • Camera: 8 MP CCD lens, with autofocus
  • Memory: 60 MB internal
  • Extras: FM RDS Radio, GPS, Divx playback supported, Bluetoth 2.1 connectivity
  • Dimensions: 12 mm thick
