Over ten million touchscren handsets sold by Samsung since last year    [ 05-01-2009 17:45 ]

Samsung are certainly on a roll with selling devices in high numbers - they revealed late last year that they had sold over ten million 5-8 MP cameraphone handsets. Today, they've revealed that they had broken the ten million barrier yet again, this time, in terms of touchscreen devices, like the Omnia, and F480, with the company, again selling over ten million units, accurateas of the second week of this month. It's believed that there is in the region of 37 million touchscreen handsets sold thusfar, which would mean Samsung has in the region of one third of the touchscreen market. Also, one in every four touchscreen handset that has been sold, is that of a Samsung. It's anyone's guess at how many touchscreen handsets Samsung will of sold by this time next year.
