The LG KF700 has been released in Europe, and we now have more details for you. Previously, it was unknown if it has a slide-out keypad, but, the picture below confirms that it has got one.


Technical specs are as follows:

  • Unique three-way control scheme – virtual keypad, jog wheel, and hardware keypad
  • HSDPA, supporting up to 7.2 Mbps 
  • Micro SD card slot
  • 3 megapixel camera, with autofocus, and LED flash
  • Secondary camera for video calling

We all know Samsung can be very innovative company, and their new patent holds true to this. Forget touchscreens, Samsung's new patent would see you performing gestures to get things done. The phones built-in camera will track your hand movements.


The gestures you perform do look a little odd, as you can see above, but we'll have to see how it works in real life, before we judge it.

Today, Nokia announced two Xpress Mucic handsets – the 5320, and 5220, running on S60 3rd edition, Feature Pack 2, and S40 respectively. The 5220, the lower-end of the two, will launch by the end of the third quarter, for €160. There will be two versions available for purchase – one running on the 850/1800/1900 MHz bands, and the other on the 900/1800/1900 MHz bands.


Technical specifications are as follows:

  • 2 inch QVGA (320 x 240) screen, supporting up to 256 thousand colours.
  • Dimensions: 108 x 43.5 x 10.5 mm
  • 78 grams weight
  • 2 megapixel camera
  • 3.5mm jack, with dedicated HiFi audio chip
  • FM Radio
  • 24 hours music playback
  • Support for 2GB Micro SD cards
  • 1020 mAh battery

Next, we have the 5320, the more advanced, feature-wise of the two. It will retail for €220, and should launch at the same time as the 5220. There will be two dual band 3.6Mbps HSDPA-equipped versions, one running on the 850/2100 MHz bands, and the other on the 900/2100 MHz bands.

  • Quad band GSM support, with EDGE support, and dual-band HSDPA support
  • 2 inch QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) screen, supporting up to 16 million colours
  • S60 3rd Edition, with FP2

  • 3.5 mm jack
  • Dedicated Hi-Fi audio chip
  • 890 mAh battery
  • 24 hours music playback
  • 2 megapixel camera
  • Micro SDHC card slot
  • Say and play – say an artist, r song name, and the song will start playing
