Samsung rolls out six new phones    [ 15-04-2008 15:44 ]

Today, six new handsets were leaked with pictures, and brief technical specifications for each device. There is something for everyone, in these six handsets. First up – the Samsung U800 – a cross between the U600, and U900 in terms of style and design. Only, this phone is a candybar, not a slider, as you might expect. It is encased in a full metal body, has a 3.2 megapixel camera, FM Radio, Bluetooth, and USB connection, quad band connectivity. Size-wise, it is 111×46x9.8 mm.

Next, the i900 – full touchscreen phone, running Microsoft's WM6.1 OS, has a 5 megapixel camera, 3G connectivity, and Wi-Fi. Size-wise, it's 112×56x13 mm.

The L870 is a slider, running Symbian's S60 0S (version unknown), comes equipped with a 3mp camera, has quad band, Bluetooth, and USB connectivity. It measures 102×50x13.55 mm.

Today Nokia announced a new mobile phone Nokia 6212 classic in the candy bar form. The peculiar thing about the product is the support for NFC wireless technology (Near Field Communication). However this phone does not lack Bluetooth support.

E-TEN Information Systems has introduced a pair of new communicators – Glofiish M810 and M750. The company positions them as all-purpose mass solution for the Internet, entertainment, blogging and communication in social networks. The devices are based on Windows Mobile 6 Professional featuring the complete set of functions for a communicator, i.e. wireless connectivity, built-in camera and GPS-receiver. The models differ only in the supported cell bands.
