Surfing Esato forums you can come across the images of a would-be Sony Ericsson phone. This might be an heir of the W850i with the codename Edtna (W910i or W890i).

On the photo we have a slim slider with an auto focus 2-megapixel camera. There will be two solutions with and without 3G networking. So far, it’s hard to say if the photos are real.

Today Panasonic announced a new lineup of SD and SDHC storage cards arranged according to Class4 and Class 6.

There are 4 Class6 products, among them a 4GB SDHC and 3 SD cards capacious of 2 GB, 1 GB and 512 MB. The Class4 series consists of 3 models: a 4 GB SDHC and 2 SD with 2 GB and 1 GB onboard.

The sales start is scheduled for mid April 2007.

Samsung Electronics got a patent on a peculiar interface diversifying SMS messaging experience. The idea is quite simple implying SMS messages with each sender displayed in a message box just like in instant messangers.

You can easily follow the SMS history with a particular sender, the messages being presented with continuous conversation. Besides if a contact has been assigned a photo, it will be visualized.

Samsung Electronics has officially announced an improved Q1 Ultra – the sequel to today’s ultra mobile PC (UMPC) Q1 shown up in 2006.

The Q1 Ultra is a tiny and lightweight PC. Weighing just 690 g it is 23.9 mm thick and fits the palm perfectly. The device features Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium OS, 7” Super Bright LCD with WSVGA resolution (1024x600 pixels, 300 nits) and built-in QWERTY-keyboard.

Due to 30% reduced power consumption the Q1 Ultra ensures longer battery life on a single charge – up to 3.5 hours on the standard 4-elements battery and over 6 hours on a 6-elements battery. In addition, the device can boast of rich set of connectivity capabilities, i.e. 10/100 Ethernet, WLAN 802.11b/g, HSDPA/WiBRO and Bluetooth 2.0. As an option, GPS Navigation Package will help reaching the destination faster.

Samsung Q1 Ultra is provided with high security level and widest multimedia functionality. Both cameras allow for snapping photos, video calls and MMS messaging. Fingerprints recognition system is to protect confidential info and simplify the authentication procedure.
