As for the specs, they are as follows: this is a fashion phone on Series 40 platform, equipped with a QVGA-display, an expansion slot for microSD cards and Bluetooth interface. In addition the FCC has certified Nokia 7500 early in June. Probably we’ll have more details soon.

Nokia E61i and Nokia E65 debuted in the US    [ 26-06-2007 08:06 ]

Author: Irina Turina     Translation by: Rytchkova Anja    Send news to friend  Discuss in forum

Nokia has announced the launch of business smartphones on the US market – Nokia E61i and Nokia E65. Reportedly, the devices will be available online and in stores. The price for Nokia E61i and Nokia E65 will make up some $400.

I’d remind you that both phones have debuted this February. They can work in EGSM and WCDMA networks. Nokia E61i is a candy bar equipped with a QWERTY-keyboard, and Nokia E65 is packed in the slider form. The smartphones are powered by Symbian S60 3rd Edition and feature a QVGA display, 50 MB of memory onboard, a microSD-slot, a 2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Besides the developer says the business smartphones can be easily integrated with fixed office phones via dedicated software.
