Today SanDisk announced the launch of Cruzer Contour – a USB-drive. It is peculiar for stylish design and original construction: to access the USB drive the user need to slide the cover with the finger.

Currently there are 2 models with 4GB and 8GB of memory onboard, which cost $100 and $190 respectively. They provide 18 Mbps write speed and 25 Mbps read speed. The new product comes with preinstalled software, which can be launched directly from USB-drive and do not require PC installation (Skype IP-telephony client, antivirus, SanDisk CruzerSync, SignupShield (password manager), and Sudoku and mahjong Towers Eternity games).

Sanyo Katana DLX approved by the FCC    [ 25-06-2007 09:42 ]

Author: Irina Turina     Translation by: Rytchkova Anja    Send news to friend  Discuss in forum

The official FCC site has published documents of Sanyo SCP-8500 (Katana DLX) phone. This is another member of Katana slim clamshells for Sprint operator. I’d remind you that the first Sanyo Katana was announced about a year ago and Sanyo Katana II has been approved by the FCC a month ago.

The new Katana phone can work in CDMA EV-DO networks, supports Bluetooth interface and has a microSD slot. Taking into account the pics, there are 2 displays and a camera. It looks somewhat narrow and smaller, but thicker than the original Katana. The source hasn’t provided any more details of the device, including the pics.
