HTC Vogue: a CDMA version of HTC Touch    [ 22-06-2007 10:21 ]

Author: Irina Turina   Source: CTI Miami Blog     Translation by: Rytchkova Anja    Send news to friend  Discuss in forum

Another new device from the HTC roadmap is a CDMA-version of the recently announced HTC Touch codenamed Vogue. I’d remind you that the company announced the release of HTC Touch early in June. It is peculiar for the touch control – the finger instead the stylus, and it can work in GSM networks only. The CDMA-version (HTC Vogue) features enhanced functionality against HTC Touch.

The specs of HTC Vogue:

  • Networks - CDMA 1x-EVDO RevA, 800/1900 MHz
  • Operating system - Windows Mobile 6 Professional, TouchFLO interface
  • Chipset - Qualcomm MSM7500 (CPU 400 MHz)
  • Display – 2.8” touchscreen 240x320 pixels
  • 128 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM
  • Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g
  • GPS/gpsOne
  • 2-megapixel camera
  • Battery - 1150 mAh

O2 Helen: early info    [ 22-06-2007 08:35 ]

Author: Irina Turina   Source: The Unwired     Translation by: Rytchkova Anja    Send news to friend  Discuss in forum

The Unwired has posted photos of an unknown communicator under O2 brand. The device is called O2 Helen and powered by Windows Mobile 6 Professional, says the source. Obviously, the new product is an heir of O2 Stealth: it comes in the same form-factor with the sliding numeric keyboard.

Unlike the predecessor, O2 Helen supports both GSM and UMTS networks. It features Marvell PXA 270 520 MHz processor, 64 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM, a microSD slot, an FM-radio, Wi-Fi b/g support and Bluetooth interface. O2 Helen will be probably launched by the Asian unit of O2 by the end of this year.
