Microsoft has been actively developing package of projects called Windows Live. It contains useful Internet applications and resources – email, blogs, search engine, antivirus and so on.

Now these resources are available to mobile users – you have to enter mobile.live.com/ address in Internet Explorer Mobile or follow the existing link in MSN Mobile. UTStarcom introduced new HTC products    [ 15-09-2006 09:00 ]

Author: Verà Kozlova   Source: Engadget Mobile     Translation by: Rytchkova Anja    Send news to friend  Discuss in forum

At the CTIA 2006 show in Los Angeles running on September 12-14, UTStarcom unveiled pictures of two new upcoming communicators. However the company didn’t reveal the devices themselves or their specs, probably to attract more attention. But we have some info.

UTStarcom is a communicator with two keyboards. The digital one is placed under the screen, and the QWERTY-keyboard is sliding from the side. It turned to be the HTC development under the code name Libra. A spokesman of HTC said, the CDMA version of the Libra (with the support of EV-DO Revision A standard) would be released in 1Q 2007, and the GSM version is scheduled for the next year. The Libra communicator is powered by Windows Mobile 5.0. It is expected to be smaller than other HTC products with sliding keyboards.

UTStarcom PPC6800 is HTC Herald, a heir of HTC Wizard. Under the preliminary info, the Herald is slimmer than the Wizard (18 mm thick), supports microSD cards instead of miniSD, and has a less capacious battery.
