Author: Verà Kozlova     Translation by: Rytchkova Anja    Send news to friend  Discuss in forum

Samsung has released a new mobile phone supporting high speed data transfer standard HSDPA for the American operator Cingular. The SGH-A707 can download full tracks protected with Windows Media Digital Right Management.

This technology is applied by online shops, for example, Napster and Yahoo. Cingular is expecting to launch its own WMDRM-service, so the users of the SGH-A707 can buy and download music without PC.

The phone is packed in a clamshell form. It’s quite slim, customary for Samsung – 17.5 mm. The phone features a 2-megapixel camera, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth (stereo) interfaces.

Upcoming Nokia E-series models, rumors    [ 23-10-2006 10:20 ]

Author: Verà Kozlova   Source: eStránky.cz     Translation by: Rytchkova Anja    Send news to friend  Discuss in forum

In fall we hear many new rumors on future mobile products. Rumors mainly concern products by Nokia and Sony Ericsson. There emerged some rumors on future E-series models at eStránky.cz, as well as at the English forum of mobile-review.com.

The E61i, E65 and E90 are supposed to come out in spring 2007. The E61i is the version of Nokia E61 smartphone, but with the camera, the E65 is the copy of the N80 –the slider with a single camera, the E90 is the communicator with two cameras and GPS.

These are early rumors, so we might get soon detailed images of the new phones. The E90 communicator is supposed to have a QWERTY-keyboard and a form-factor like Nokia 9xxx models (9300, 9300i and so on), and it will be built on S60 platform instead of S80 like Nokia 9xxx.
