The MP3 Flash player lineup of Nexx has been expanded with the NF-810. The model is peculiar of an ultra slim shell and small dimensions 39x88x7 mm and 38 g. The NF-810 supports popular formats – MP3/WMA/ADPCM audio, JPEG, BMP photo and video in SMV. With the built-in encoder it’s possible to convert MPEG, WMV, AVI to SMV format. Its big and bright TFT LCD features 1.66” and 65000 colors.

There is the multilingual support, including Russian. The PC connection runs via USB 2.0 interface. The opportunities of the player are extended with an integrated FM-receiver and a voice recorder (WAV IDA ADPCM). Being fed by a lithium battery the NF-810 lasts for 10 hours on a single charge. The player is available with 512 MB/ 1 GB/ 2 GB onboard.

The sales package contains headphones, a carrying case, a lace, an arm sport binding, a USB-cable and an installation CD.

Samsung Electronics has released another T-DMB phone SCH-540. It is packed in a clamshell form with the rotating display. The device is equipped with a 2-megapixel revolving camera, an MP3- and video player.

The display features a QVGA (240x320 pixels) resolution. Like other Korean phones the SCH-B540 supports e-dictionary, mobile banking, Bluetooth, an expansion slot and a TV-out. The model will be released by the Korean operators SKT, KTF and LGT. The recommended price makes up 700,000 Won, i.e. $730.

At KES 2006 Samsung together with Eidicom has introduced an interesting mobile device EW-700. Being positioned as the smartphone the device doesn’t work in cell networks, but in wireless Wi-Fi networks.

With the EW-700 you can make VoIP calls, exchange messages, surf Web sites and so on. The companies marked their mutual development - Post-PC processor for multimedia applications. It might be the link to Post PC era approaching with such devices.

The smartphone has Web-browser, IM-client, music and video players, voice recorder, 2-megapixel camera. There is the support of PIM-functions and synchronization with Outlook. The device is recognized by PC as USB drive.

A mid-range clamshell phone Nokia 6133 had been rumored since the beginning of the year, however the official announcement has taken place only now. Nokia released the model from the American operator T-Mobile USA. Nokia 6133 is relatively slim – 17 mm. At the same time it’s somewhat advanced.

The phone is equipped with a 1.3-megapixel camera with8x digital zoom and video capture, a player (MP3, AAC, AAC+ and eAAC+) and a microSD slot. It’s possible to use a wireless stereo headset via Bluetooth.

Its internal display features a 2.2” diagonal, QVGA (240x320 pixels) resolution and 16M colors. The phone is designed for GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) networks. The operator offers Nokia 6133 for $99.99 after all discounts and in case of a 2-years service contract.
