The German unit of O2 operator has announced the start of sales of O2 XDA Neo communicator. It has quite typical specs: Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system, a 320x240 pixels touchscreen LCD, a 2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, quad-band GSM and an expansion slot for SD cards.

Besides there appeared a special edition of the communicator XDA Neo “Race Edition”. Many supposed the new name implied GPS-module onboard, however this didn’t turn to be true. The difference might be in the small line below the screen…

Another model of the Motorola slim clamshell family Motorola KRZR (K1/K1m) was announced in July 2006 in two color solutions: Blue (K1) and Black (K1m). the clamshell is already available for both GSM and CDMA networks. According to mobilegazette source, there will be also introduced the Silver Quartz version by the end of the year.

The specs will remain the same, so we won’t mention them. The company has offered another color to stimulate the interest to the phone.

HTC has eventually announced a much rumored communicator HTC P4350. It is based on HTC Herald. The company expects the device will come out in Europe, Near and Middle East and Africa early in December.

The communicator is 17 mm thick, at the same time it has a side sliding QWERTY-keyboard. It is also equipped with a 2-megapixel camera and an expansion slot for microSD cards. Other main features are similar to Wizard-communicators. The approximate price for HTC P4350 makes up $735.

  • 2.8” touchscreen QVGA (240x320 pixels) LCD

Samsung Electronics has unveiled its new phone SGH-P930. It supports HSDPA high-speed data transfer standard and DVB-H mobile TV standard. The device will come out in Italy this month. We’ve already mentioned the intention of the Italian operator TIM to release this phone.

The P930 is equipped with a 2.3” rotating display and supports PIP function (Picture in Picture). So you can watch two channels at once, which is a very convenient function.

E-TEN Information Systems has announced a new communicator Glofiish M700. This is the second product by the company introduced this month and the second model under the Glofiish brand. It is positioned as the first and the only communicator with a side sliding QWERTY-keyboard, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g) and GPS-navigation. I’d note this is E-TEN’s debut with this form-factor.

The communicator is designed for GSM networking and supports GPRS, EDGE and no 3G. Its GPS-module is built on SiRF Star III chipset, it’s possible to track road situation with TMC.

As for the multimedia opportunities, the M700 has a 2-megapixel camera and an FM-tuner. It is powered by Windows Mobile .0. There is no more info provided by the company so far. The release of the Glofiish M700 is set for the end of November.
