Currently there are several ways to charge the mobile phone, main of them are via an ordinary charger or PC USB-port. Besides there are some exotic methods – by manual power or even solar power. In future we can charge mobile phones and notebooks by air, say the scientists from the Massachusetts Technological Institute!

The scientists provided graphical explanation of their theory at the conference in San Francisco. They suppose that magnetism can transfer energy by wireless means and this effect might be useful – for example, to charge a drained out mobile.
