Tablet PC is a very comfortable means to work “while walking” due to compact size, rotating touchscreen and manuscript input. These devices are positioned between notebooks and new ultra mobile PC (UMPC). Fujitsu has offered two new models – the LifeBook T4125 and P1610. The T4125 is equipped with a 12.1” LCD, while the P1610 – with a compact 8.9” LCD.

The P1610 features a 1.2 GHz ULV Core Solo U1400 processor, a WXGA LCD, 512 MB RAM and 30 GB HDD, a fingerprints scanner, 1GB Ethernet, Wi-Fi and a battery providing 3.5 hours of continuous work (an expansion battery for 7 hours costs $45). The basic configuration is priced at $1650.

The T4215 involves more advanced CPU – Core 2 Duo 1.66 GHz to 2 ÏÐÿá a multi-format DVD-recorder or combo-drive, 512 MB RAM, 40 GB HDD and a card-reader. However its display has XGA resolution. The basic configuration is listed for $1750. Both models are already available for order.
