Bluetooth-watch for mobile phone users
[ 03-03-2006 18:57 ]
Author: Verà Kozlova Translation by:
Seiko Instruments has introduced a proto of Bluetooth-watch called BT Watch or MCPC TR-006 ver.1.0. The device is meant to be an accessory for mobile phones. For example, with vibration or a melody it informs about an incoming call, received SMS or e-mail displaying the number and name of a contact or e-mail subject.
The LCD of the watch also displays some service info – for example, battery charge level. There is the support of an interesting function – the watch produces a signal, when the Bluetooth-connection with the phone is broken, thus there is little chance you lose the device. The release date of the watch is far ahead – the company set it for the end of 2006 or the beginning of 2007.
