Author: Verà Kozlova   Source: Esato     Translation by:    Send news to friend  Discuss in forum

The mobile phone concept Black Diamond designed by Jaren Goh was sold to VIPN, which decided to release 5 units priced at $300,000 each. Now there emerged some info on a “budget” version called White Pearl.

It has the same specs as Black Diamond – the sensor keyboard, GSM and Wi-Fi networks, 2” TFT LCD, 4-megapixel camera, Intel 400 MHz CPU, 128MB RAM, SD slot, Windows Mobile 5.0. Only the design has been changed (white color, no diamonds) and the price “dropped” to $1,500. White Pearl is expected to appear in shops early in 2007. There is no info on how many devices are planned to be offered for sale.
