At the FCC site you can read about a new 3G-phone SGH-Z630 made by the South Korean company Samsung Electronics.

The phone is packed in a slider form, equipped with a 2-megapixel camera and supports Bluetooth wireless networks.

Sony has announced a new player/recorder Walkman MZ-M200, which supports playback and recording from ordinary mini disks and Hi-MD disks. A 1GB Hi-MD disk can store 94 minutes of uncompressed sound (Linear PCM) or 8/34 hours of ATRAC3plus sound (at 64 or256 kbps).

The device is fed by a Li-In battery. There is USB 2.0 interface for PC connection. The sales of the NZ-M200 are scheduled for August. The recommended price makes up $439.5.

Another relatively new model was introduced by Orange at MoDaCo Summer Event – a 3G version of Samsung i320 smartphone. At the photo we see an additional frontal camera for video telephony and a 3G sign in specs.

I’d remind you that Samsung i320 is a slim smartphone with a QWERTY-keyboard powered by Windows Mobile 5.0. The version recently released by Samsung is designed for GSM networks and support EDGE data transfer standard.

At the past MoDaCo Summer Event in London the European operator Orange introduced several mobile devices powered by Windows Mobile. They are expected in shops in near future. In addition to popular HTC platforms there is a new model – Orange SPV C100.

This is a low-end smartphone for quad-band GSM. It is equipped with TI OMAP 850 200 MHz processor, 64 MB flash-memory, an expansion slot for miniSD cards and a 1.3-megapixel camera. The smartphone is also based on an HTC platform – HTC Oxygen.

At the FCC site (the US Federal Communications Commission) you can find info on Motorola K1. This is the much rumored long-awaited clamshell phone under the codename Motorola Canary. The phone has been approved by the FCC, so soon there will be the announcement.



In addition to live pictures there are text reports and user’s manuals. According to these documents, the phone is meant for GSM quad-band networks, supports EDGE, Push-to-Talk, Bluetooth and USB. Other specs aren’t confirmed so far, the new phone is expected to have a 2-megapixel camera, a 176x220 pixel internal LCD, an MP3-player and an expansion slot for microSD cards.
