According to Reuters with the link to the sources close to the company, Microsoft will release its own player by the Christmas. The device will compete with the popular iPod by Apple. The Microsoft product will support the playback of music and video. The player is also rumored to get wireless opportunities.
Microsoft unveiled its device and its media service (like iTunes) several weeks ago. I’d remind you MTV and Microsoft have recently introduced a beta-version of URGE service integrated into Microsoft Windows Media Player 11. Probably, this mysterious player will be focused on URGE.
