14.1” e-book    [ 28-08-2006 19:41 ]

Author: Klimov Oleg   Source: aving.net     Translation by:    Send news to friend  Discuss in forum

There are enough devices on the market, which belong to the so-called e-book class. All of them are mainly made under E-Ink technology and represent protos. Currently there are just few such devices available for sale.

LG Philips LCD presented another proto, a 14.1” WXGA flexible e-book. However due to relatively slow response time (300 ms) it can be good for just making e-book. As for the date of the mass production and expected price, the info isn’t unveiled.
