Under the unofficial info Sony will soon introduce a new 10.1-megapixel digital still camera, the Cybershot N2. It belongs to “ point and shoot” series, there is a huge 3” LCD provides touch-screen convenience for controlling camera functions and searching thumbnail images. The camera is expected to come out in fall 2006.

The technical specs:

  • 10.1-megapixel CCD matrix;
  • 3" LCD;
  • 3x optical zoom;

Samsung Electronics has announced the Korean release of its cellphone SCH-B570. The phone was exhibited at Expo Comm Korea 2006 in May.

It is equipped with a 8Gb HDD, a 2-megapixel camera, besides it supports DMB-services and 5.1-channel virtual sound. The phone features PIP technology (Picture In Picture), at the screen you can see two TV-pictures at once.

The device will be available from the Korean operator SK Telecom. The recommended price makes up 800 thousand Won, i.e. some $830.

Sony Ericsson has officially announced its Z610 phone. This is a 3G phone peculiar with its design. It involves mirror dressing and a hidden external LCD. It is made under OLED technology, which agrees with the mirror surface of the front panel.

The Z610 will come out on some markets in 3Q 2006. It will be available in Luster Black, Rose Pink and Airy Blue color solutions.

SanDisk has officially introduced its flash MP3-player Sansa e280 with 8 GB onboard. According to the company, this is the most capacious flash-player. Besides the memory can be extended with microSD cards (up to 2GB).

The recommended price for the Sansa e280 makes up $249.99 (for the US market), which is quite inexpensive – Apple offers its iPod Nano 4 GB for the same price. In addition the company announced the price cut for Sansa e200 series: the e250 with 2GB ($139.99), the e260 4GB ($179.99) and the e270 6GB ($219.99).

Dimensions of the Sansa e200 series are 89x44x13 mm. The players are equipped with a color 1.8” TFT QCIF+ LCD, an FM-tuner and a microphone. They are fed by a Li-Ion batteries, which ensure up to 20 hours of playback.
