Motorola and Burton Snowboards have announced the release of the second generation of their Audex clothes collection equipped with Bluetooth-solutions. The new collection 2007 Audex contains a jacket, a helmet and caps in different styles. It features new technical opportunities.

Audex Bluetooth Stereo System helps transferring music from Bluetooth-phones to the Audex jacket. So the user can listen to the music and make calls operating the process from the remote control on the jacket’s sleeve. There are also speakers and/or a headphones jack.

The helmet and the cap also support Bluetooth to listen to the stereo music or receive calls from the Bluetooth-phone with the hat on, so to say. The 2007 Audex collection will be available this month.

TabletKiosk has announced two new Ultra Mobile PC – eo i7209 and eo i7210. The first eo v7110 was released late in April this year, it was powered by VIA processor. The new models are based on Intel processor.

The eo i7210 UMPC is powered by Intel Pentium M ULV 1.0 MHz, 1 GB DDR2 RAM and 60 GB HDD.

The eo i7209 comes with Intel Celeron M ULV 900 MHz, 512 MB DDR2 RAM and 30 GB HDD.

Both models have 7” sensor WVGA LCD, 1.3-megapixel camera, card-readers for SD, SDIO, MMC and MS, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) and Bluetooth 1.2. Dimensions are 225.6x144x24.9 mm and weight – 830 g. They are supplied with preinstalled Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 with Touch Pack. The shipments will start late in August. The recommended price for the junior model makes up $1099 and for the senior model - $1399.

The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has approved and published the info on new, but not yet officially announced mobile phone Samsung SPH-A720. This is a multimedia model packed in a clamshell form with player buttons on the front panel. It features angular style.



The phone is meant for Sprint operator and supports EV-DO high-speed data transfer standard. It is equipped with a media player and a camera snapping photos and video. Unfortunately, the manual provided on the FCC site doesn’t mention the resolution. There is Bluetooth interface, text and multimedia messages, e-mail and IM.

Samsung Electronics has announced the European release of a HSDPA phone. The SGH-Z560was announced early this year. This is a slim clamshell (16 mm thick – not much for this class).

It is equipped with a 2-megapixel camera with auto focus, an MP3-player with external control buttons, an expansion slot for microSD cards and Bluetooth interface. Its internal LCD features a 2.3” diagonal, QVGA (240x320 pixels0 resolution and 262K colors. The data transfer speed reaches 1.8 Mbps. At first the SGH-Z560 will come out in France and Germany and then in other European countries.
