EV-KD300: new Korean DMB-slider

It might seem that new models emerge almost every day on the Korean market. The activity of local makers is really impressive. So, the Korean company KTFT, which has recently released a 7.9 mm thick handset, introduced the EV-KD300 mobile phone for the Korean operator KTF.
This is a slider equipped with a DMB-receiver. Besides it has some other multimedia functions, i.e. a 1.3-megapixel camera and an MP3-player. Its 2” LCD features a QVGA (240x320 pixels) resolution and 262K colors. It is expected to be available from KTF soon.

New N-series models to be announced tomorrow

Nokia has sent invitations to the presentation of new multimedia N-series models, which will be held in Berlin tomorrow. There expected to be shown much rumored N73 and N93 phones at this event.
According to the Reuters site with the link to the source close to Nokia the new models will be lighter and more stylish compared to the predecessors, but they are far from Samsung and Motorola slim phones.

miniSD cards as USB drives: a solution by Imation

Imation has announced the start of sales of its new device MSD128-USB on May 1. This is a USB adapter for miniSD storage cards (with read/write opportunity). On the face of it, there seems to be nothing special about this device, the matter is that this adapter transforms miniSD cards inside its translucent shell into a USB flash drive, i.e. it is recognized as USB Mass Storage device. This device comes with a 128 MB miniSD card.

The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has approved a new communicator Sidekick III (Sharp PV200). This is the successor of the Sidekick model released by T-Mobile operator.
In addition to the photos of Sidekick III there are some technical specs. The communicator is equipped with a 1.3-megapixel camera, an expansion slot for miniSD cards and supports Bluetooth.
