The BlackBerry PlayBook hasn't exactly been setting the world alight, but it's popularity may change thanks to a new killer feature: Android. No this isn't simply a case of someone cramming an Android build onto a PlayBook, rather it's the Android app player. Essentially the PlayBook runs as normal except that Android can be run on it an used to play Android apps. So the best of both worlds (even if one of those worlds has a lot more to offer than the other). Check it out in the video below.

Apple have posted up a video of their 19th October event to celebrate the life of Steve Jobs. It's a long video at 80 minutes, but there's a lot in it. Eulogies came from Tim Cook and Al Gore, and whilst both were touching and relevant the most impressive of all came from Jonny Ive, Apple's lead designer, and one of Steve's closest friends. Ive's speech was heartfelt and at times moving, but also touched with some humour, which perhaps lent it all the more pathos. Anyway, enough from me, head on over to Apple and watch the video.
