Xperia Mini Pro II Leaks Again    [ 13-04-2011 16:44 ]

The already leaked Xperia Mini Pro II has once again popped up in a series of pictures and this time the UI is shown off. It's a Gingerbread 9Android 2.3) affair and the UI looks similar to previous incarnations on smaller Android devices from the company e.g. Xperia Mini, etc. It sports a QWERTY keyboard (physical keyboard that is), a 3 inch 320x480 display, which is larger than the original Xperia Mini Pro by the way and it's powered by a 1 GHz chip.

Suppliers Haven't Received Any iPhone 5 Info Yet    [ 13-04-2011 16:11 ]

There has been much talk of the iPhone 5 (or whatever it will be called) being released in September instead of the summer as is usually the case with new iPhones. Indeed, just yesterday I posted up some commentary from one analysts supporting that view. However, DigiTimes are running a report saying that component manufacturers haven't received any information from Apple regarding the productionschedule for the iPhone 5. On the face of it that would seem to contradict the September release theory.

On the other hand those manufacturers also haven't received any orders for iPhone 5 components, which they would have if a summer release was on the cards. Importantly the manufacturers are still receiving orders related to the iPhone 4 suggesting that Apple plans for that device to be on sale for some time yet.
