RIM Unveils Webkit Browser for Blackberry    [ 16-02-2010 17:49 ]

In the general excitement over Windows Phone Series 7 (that really is a mouthful) it's easy to forget that other platforms have been getting some love at MWC too. Today RIM unveiled their new webkit based browser for Blackberry and it's looking pretty good. Crackberry made a point to note that the demo video was recorded rather than live and that the phone featured was using a WiFi connection not a 3G connection, but even so the results look rather impressive. Javascript looks to be loading up much faster than in previous Blackberry browsers and hopefully a live hands-on surfaces soon so we can see it in action. For now enjoy the videos:
