Vodafone to Launch X2 Afterall ... In Spain    [ 05-02-2010 20:37 ]

As some of you may know Vodafone has dropped the Sony Ericsson X2 from sale, apparently due to the dleay in getting the handset to market. However, Vodafone's Spanish operation has no such qualms and the handset will be available to its Spanish customers. The handset runs WinMo 6.5 and made a few headlines as it was afirst announced around the time WinMo 6.5 itself was announced. However, as seems to be the case with many a Sony Ericsson product these days, the X2 hasn't exactly been quick out of the starting blocks and when Vodafone announced that its UK network would no longer be offering the handset as planned some wondered whether this would filter through to Vodafone's other networks around the world. Well the answer is no, if Spain is anything to go by.
