Android users can be grouped into two categories, those who are using Swype and those who aren't, but want to be. It's been locked up behind a beta wall for a while now with the vague promise of it opening again ...

... that day has come! For the moment the beta programme has once again opened up so if you want to give it a bash move fast and sign yourself up! There is a FAQ for those new to the app and a handy wee video to ease you into the awesomeness.

HTC Launches YouTube App For Win Phone 7    [ 20-12-2010 18:27 ]

Author: Ivanov Konstantin   Source: IntoMobile     Translation by: Paul Smith    Send news to friend  Discuss in forum

Good old HTC! They've come through fortheir Windows Phone 7 customers by releasing the first full YouTube app for the platform. Being new(ish) Windows Phone 7 obviously doesn't every bell and whistle the more established players like Android and iOS do, so this is a pretty big deal, at least if you are an HTC customer.

The app is accessed through Apps>Music & Video>New. It is not accessed from the HTC Hub.

The app supports HD quality video playback over WiFi and overall the performance is said to be pretty speedy. If you have an HTC Windows Phone 7 device go check it out. If not you will just have to console yourself with the picture below:
