UK Goes iPhone Crazy ... Vodafone to Sell 3G & 3GS    [ 29-09-2009 20:02 ]

The UK is in the midst of an iPhone feeding frenzy it seems. Just yesterday Orange announced that they would soon be offering both the iPhone 3G and 3GS for sale in the UK althouhg there was no word of a release date or pricing. Today Vodafone have gotten in on the act and also announced that they too will be offering the iPhone 3G and 3GS to their British and Irish customers sometime in early 2010. Again there is no word on pricing although current thinking has it that Vodafone will be focusing their iPhone strategy on existing customers rather than using it as the 'great attractor' that O2 did to gain new customers. With three UK networks set to offer the iPhone a price war might not be too far away ...
