Pureness Priced ... Not Cheap    [ 11-09-2009 17:33 ]

The cloak of mystery surrounding Pureness has been lifted, at least in so far as pricing and availability have been detailed. As suspected Pureness looks to be a pricey affair, retailing at around the £530 mark. That's not cheap in anyone's book and it looks like the target market is older affluent customers. That ties in with Pureness' relatively simplistic feature set i.e. talk and text and that's about it! As part of its more rareified branding Pureness will be sold through shops like Selfridges rather than through the networks as most other handsets are. Sony Ericsson are probably not expecting this to be a huge seller, but adding a touch of exclusivity to something often has the effect of making it more desirable so you never know ...
