At Last ... Spotify For Symbian    [ 24-11-2009 17:09 ]

Author: Irina Turina   Source: Engadget     Translation by: Administrator    Send news to friend  Discuss in forum

Those crazy kids over at Spotify have finally gone and done it ... they've released a Spotify app for Symbian. Why is this important you make ask? After all Spotify already exists for both the iPhone and Android. Well despite all the hoopla over the iPhone and even if Android is the up and coming star of the mobile OS scene, Symbian is still the most popular mobile OS and is on more devices than any other. The Symbian version of Spotify is pretty much the same as its iPhone and Android cousins, you still need a premium account to use it.

webOS 1.3.1 To Hit Europe Soon    [ 24-11-2009 16:43 ]

Author: Serge Novikov   Source: Pocket-lint     Translation by: Administrator    Send news to friend  Discuss in forum

British, Irish, German and Spanish Palm Pre owners should soon be seeing their devices updated to version 1.3.1 of webOS according to Palm. It's an over the air update that will be pushed through to the handsets when they are in Wi-Fi or 3G coverage. The update itself should see the Pre get support for LinkedIn contacts, Yahoo! calendar and contacts information and the ability to forward messages from the messaging app on the phone. There's also the inclusion of a new Facebook app for Palm too although judging by the talk in the blogosphere it's a bit paltry when compared with the iPhone's Facebook app or even the Android Facebook app. Perhaps of greatest interet though is that there is no iTunes workaround with this update as has been the case with previous updates.
