Phone4U to Sell N97 From 26th June    [ 13-05-2009 20:04 ]

N97 fans will be excited to know that Phones4U has become the first large UK retailer to confirm a release date for the handset. Phone4U will begin selling the handset from 26th June, just over a month away, which still gives the competition, at least in theory, time to pip Phones4U to the post. Both Vodafone and O2 look set to sell the handset although Phone4U haven't officially said which networks they will offer the handset on or made any mention of price. A release date of 27th June also means that Nokia's Ovi store will ave to be fully functional and ready to roll by then.
