Samsung has announced a new low-end slider handset - the C3310, aimed directly at emerging markets. Because of this, the C3310 is essentially a no-frills device, but that's besides the point. In terms of specifications, there really isn't much to go by.

What is known, is that the C3310 supports Quad-band GSM connectivity, an on-board camera (probably VGA resolution), a MicroSD expansion slot, and, lastly, an integrated FM Radio. Pricing is currently not known, but, it should be available in China, and selected European markets soon.

Ericsson says rumoured break up from Sony Ericsson partnership is not the case    [ 24-03-2009 01:02 ]

Author: Klimov Oleg   Source: mocoNews     Translation by: Administrator    Send news to friend  Discuss in forum

It's been rumoured for a while now that the Sony Ericsson partnership, formed in 2001, was to be on the verge of a break up. Really, this shouldn't of come as a surprise to anyone, given that the joint venture hasn't really been going as either side would have liked, recently. What with the company, in this quarter, selling half as many handsets, compared to the previous quarter. Anyway, the Ericsson side of Sony Ericsson have gone on record, denying that the partnership would come to an end. Ericsson Spokesperson Minako Nakatsuma Olofzon, had this to say on the matter "We are committed to the joint venture…we haven’t changed our view on that". So, it seems the rumours of the joint venture splitting, can come to and, for the meantime, at least.
