Augmented Reality fans (and I most certainly am) will no doubt be interested to hear that a new Twitter clinet for the iPhone 3G S has been released that combines AR with the usual Twitter goodness. Check out the video below of the app in action, which shows geo-tagged posts around you. When the iPhone is pointed at the ground the app switches to a compass mode that shows an arrow pointing to nearby tweets. Google Maps offers a layer showing tweets ona  global scale.
