Google search plug-in has become available for Windows Mobile OS, reported Google’s official blog. It places Google search panel on Today screen of a PDA device or smartphone’s Homescreen to provide quick access to the search system. The company has released versions for Windows Mobile Classic, Professional and Standard. Google also mentions a plug-in version for Symbian smartphones launched several weeks ago and earlier one for BlackBerry. You can download the plug-in from mobile.google.com to your mobile device.

Reportedly, Motorola will release several high-end models in the second half of 2008, some of them were unveiled at Motorola’s presentation. The company expects to introduce the Rokr E8 (the successor to E6), Rokr Z10 (the successor to Z8) and Q10 (the business smartphone after the Q9) by the end of this year. In addition Motorola scheduled a 5-megapixel cameraphone – the ZN5, the new generation Ming phone and Motorola Z9 in the slider form-factor designed for 3.5G networks and featuring GPS-functionality. Time will show whether this info is true, some of Motorola’s new handsets will debut at CTIA Wireless.

The world web is already full of rumors about the upcoming HTC device codenamed Dream and powered by Android OS. However previously it was described as the device similar to the iPhone. This time the sources say that the model will really come out in the second half of 2008 and will have a big touchscreen and a QWERTY-keyboard. The latter can slide out and revolve. Reportedly, the device is about 127 mm tall and 76 mm wide.

HTC is likely to pioneer the way for Android devices. However Samsung is also working on its Android product expecting to launch it by the end of this year, report unofficial sources.
