If you don’t prefer to use ordinary stuff, the jewelers will do an exclusive version of some product for you. Handsets with crystals and laptops in golden coating can hardly astonish anyone, this time the trend has involved music players.
The cheapest Apple iPod player – the shuffle was sold for ₤20 000! Of cause, we speak about a special version, which is plated with 18-carat gold and encrusted with 430 diamonds. Thus we have the most expensive player ever sold.

HTC has filed a patent application for a smartphone with two keyboards – numeric and QWERTY. This isn’t a kind of a run-of-the-mill design – two keyboards make one, i.e. the digits are engraved on the QWERTY-keyboard's buttons. You can use either of the keyboards in particular positions of the device. For the landscape mode you just pull down the QWERTY-keyboard and for the portrait mode – a part of the numeric keyboard, so the phone looks like an ordinary slider-phone. The source hasn’t shared the info when HTC would launch such device. However it might not take the company long to release the new type slider to the market.

Lysandre Follet, a French designer, has introduced a mobile phone concept under the Motorola brand. The model ships with a so-called stereo camera onboard. There are two lenses to make ultra wide panoramic shots or 3D photos (the designer hasn’t specified the functions). According to Follet, the device supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless connectivity, and the numeric keypad is equipped with dedicated buttons for the media player. Such a solution will hardly ever fill Motorola’s portfolio, though the company could really use some unordinary moves right now.
