Apparently, LG, who were, and still are, the first manufacturer to release a phone that shoots video in DivX , will they be the first to release an 8 megapixel cameraphone in Europe? Who will be the first to break the barrier - LG, or Sony Ericsson, with their C905? The so-called KC910 is slated to be released sometime in October, around the same time as the C905. Much like the C905, the KC910 will sport an Xenon Flash, with a host of image modes. LG have gone a step further, with another first for a cameraphone - shooting video in 720 x 480 pixels, at 30 FPS. The KC910 looks to have a new Viewty-like UI - obviously it's a touchscreen handset, reportedly using the WVGA resolution. The display looks to be quite resistant, being made of hardened glass. The form-factor is currently unknown, but the handset looks to be around 14mm thick, utilising aluminium casing.

Samsung has supplied Apple with fifty million NAND Flash memory chips, which will obviously give Samsung a shortage of the chips for themselves. According to certain sources Samsung has put all other customers on hold. The chips - all of which offer 8GB of storage, are to be predominantly used in Apple's 3G iPhone, due for release on July 11th. Samsung attributes the lack of chips for themselves on the oversupply of the chips, well, they've shifted a significant number to Apple, so that's certainly going to help them get rid of unwanted chips.

According to latest reports, Samsung is preparing a new Windows Mobile smartphone, which seems to be aimed at those who leave Web Browsing to the Desktop, given that 3G, nor Wi-Fi is present in the handset.
However, everything else you'd expect from a smartphone is still present - the specs are as follows:
