BenQ T60 also supports NFC (Near Field Communication) technology. The sales in Asia start in 2Q 08, then the T60 will probably come to other markets, says the source.

For you video recording lovers out there, news of LG's Viewty now being able to shoot video in VGA at 120 FPS, as opposed to the previous QVGA will be like music to your ears. The LG Viewty has undergone a rigorous testing program, as do all the products that bear the DivX Certified logo, and now it is the only phone around with native high-quality DivX video recording.
Dr. Skott Ahn, of LG Electronics Mobile Communications commented on the Viewty's brand-new DivX video feature: "The addition of DivX recording capability to the Viewty will open up the media experience and enable our users to do more with the videos they capture, from sharing that content online to playing it back beyond the phone on a wide variety of devices."
LG Viewty, currently available in Europe, will begin shipping immediately with DivX encoding capabilities, so video buffs should better watch out for this marvel!

We’ve got another leak to the Web, i.e. some spy pics of a new multimedia smartphone Motorola Z12 codenamed Scarven. Reportedly, the Z12 is a successor to the Z10 kick-slider. It packs an 8-megapixel camera with optical zoom, a 2.8” 16M color VGA touchscreen, GPS- and Wi-Fi- modules. However some sources mention a 5-megapixel camera and a touch-sensitive panel, not display. Anyway we’ll know something for sure during the official announcement. We can see three devices at the picture – supposedly, Motorola Z8 (left), Z10 (mid), Z12 (right), the latter differs from the previous models and matches the description.
A teaser video (for Motorola’s Z12) popped up on YouTube - people lugging around TVs, laptops, CDs and DVD players. “It doesn't have to be this hard” says the company in the end of the clip suggesting that we don’t need a TV set outdoors, when we can use Motorola’s multimedia smartphone. We expect to hear more about the device at Mobile World Congress 2008 in Barcelona.
